In short. Our own code sets no cookies. There are no advertising or analytics cookies on the site: no Google Analytics, no Yandex.Metrica, no social network pixels. Strictly necessary cookies are set by the sign-in service, and we use browser storage for small things such as your chosen language.
That is why we have no "accept cookies" banner — there is nothing to agree to (why that is).
1. What this is about
Websites save small records in your browser. There are two kinds:
- cookies — records that the browser sends back to the server with every request. This is how sign-in works, for example: the server recognizes you;
- browser storage (localStorage and sessionStorage) — records that stay in the browser and are not sent anywhere on their own. This is mostly what we use.
2. Our cookies
There are none. The site pages and the personal account do not set cookies with our own code: requests to the server use a short-lived access token taken from the sign-in service, not a session saved in a cookie.
3. Third-party cookies
| Who sets them | Why | Type |
|---|---|---|
| Clerk — the sign-in service | Remembers that you are signed in and protects the session. Sign-in does not work without these cookies. | Strictly necessary |
| Cloudflare Turnstile (connected by the sign-in service) | Tells a human from a bot on the sign-in and sign-up forms. | Strictly necessary |
These cookies appear on the sign-in and sign-up pages and in the personal account. None of them are advertising cookies.
Separately: the fonts on our pages load from Google Fonts servers. No cookies are set, but Google sees the IP address of the request — this is covered in the Privacy Policy.
4. What we keep in browser storage
These records stay in your browser and are not sent to us or to third parties — except the partner code described in the table.
| Record | Why | How long it lives |
|---|---|---|
neon-language, neonx-language | The language you chose for the pages and the personal account | Until you clear site data |
neon.referral | The partner code from a ?ref= link. Until you sign up it stays in the browser; on the first request from your account the code is sent to us in a header and erased right away | Until you sign up or clear site data |
neonTrialIntent, neonCheckoutIntent, neonAcademyJoinIntent, neonAgencyJoinIntent | Remember what you clicked before signing in: try it, pay, join — so the personal account opens right at the step you need | Until the action is completed |
theme, neonNavigationNotice, neonNavigationCache-v1, neonMarketplaceMenuExpanded, neonSidebarGroup:… | The look and state of the personal account: theme, collapsed menu sections, hints you have already seen | Until you clear site data |
neonChatDrafts, neonChatMutedUsers, neonChatNotifyEnabled, neonChatSoundEnabled | Message drafts and chat notification settings — kept locally so you do not lose text you have typed | Until you clear site data |
neonMarketplaceDeals, neonMarketplaceReputation, neonMarketplaceWorkspace | The working state of the marketplace on your device | Until you clear site data |
neonVisitPing (sessionStorage) | A mark that the visit has already been counted, so the counter fires once per session | Until you close the tab |
5. Visit counter
We count visits ourselves, without third-party analytics systems. The first time the site opens in a session, the browser sends us a short message: the time zone, the page address, where you came from, and the ad campaign tags from the link, if there were any. Your IP address is not stored: together with the description of your browser it is turned into an irreversible fingerprint, which is needed only so that one person is not counted twice in a day. We cannot link that fingerprint to you.
6. Why there is no cookie banner
A banner is needed when a site uses something you can refuse — advertising, third-party trackers, analytics that follows a person. We have none of that. What is left is strictly necessary: sign-in, bot protection and your own interface settings. Asking for consent to those would only be honest in one sense — if refusing changed something. It would not: without the sign-in cookies, sign-in does not work.
If we ever add advertising or analytics that follows visitors, we will ask for consent in advance and write about it right here.
7. How to remove all this
- Clear it — in your browser settings: "Delete site data" for neon-ecosystem.pro. Language, theme and drafts will reset, and you will be signed out of your account.
- Block it — in the same place, in the cookie settings. Note: if you block the sign-in service cookies, you will not be able to sign in to your personal account.
- Incognito mode — everything listed above disappears once you close the window.
8. Changes
If the list changes, we will update this page and change the version at the top. Significant changes come with a notice in your personal account.
