Traffic on X does not work the way paid ads do: you pay nothing, but you have to stay in the feed all the time. The main mechanism is mutual reposts inside private X Chat groups, where members take turns pushing each other's posts. Everything else, including comments under trending and pinned posts, is a supplement.
How repost groups work
- An X Chat group holds up to 250 members. The names usually state the entry bar: “No min 10K”, “20K Velvet”, “50K Tehouse”, meaning how many followers you need to be accepted.
- Each group runs a queue rule of 1/N, from 1/2 to 1/5. It sets how many other people's posts you repost before you publish your own.
- Members and moderators check the rule: skip the queue and you are out.
- Groups do not live evenly. Some go quiet within a week, others hold for months. What matters is not sitting in 40 groups but keeping a working pool of live ones.
Done by hand, this is several hours a day: watch the queue in dozens of groups, repost, publish your own post, then start again. Neon X does it for you: it reads the group rule, waits for its turn, sends the text and reposts other members, and builds the working pool from 15–20 groups on every cycle.
Dead groups eat your time
The main trap is groups where nobody answers. The account follows the rule and spends actions, but gets nothing back. So you need a regular review of who actually reposts you and who simply stays quiet.
In Neon X, groups have a rating from 0 to 5 stars and the app leaves dead ones on its own: in the list they show up as “quiet for 3 days → leave”. A live group takes the free slot.
Pace: why accounts get banned
The platform does not like steady, inhuman activity. An account that reposts something exactly every 30 seconds for 20 hours a day looks like a robot, even on a good proxy.
Hence two rules: cap the actions per hour, and keep the rhythm of a day. In Neon X this is done with five modes:
| Mode | Actions per hour | When it fits |
|---|---|---|
| Safe | 13–15 | A new account, or one recently unblocked |
| Slow | 19–21 | Warm-up after a pause |
| Normal | 27–31 | The everyday mode, set by default |
| Fast | 34–40 | An established account with history |
| Turbo | 60–76 | Short pushes around a launch, not for constant work |
On top of the limit there is rhythm: a working day of 15–16 hours, 5–6 hours of sleep with the browser closed, breaks of 60–150 minutes every 2.5–3.5 hours, and a browser restart about every three hours. A new account does not reach full speed at once: a soft start raises the pace 80 → 90 → 95 → 100% over four days.
A separate profile and proxy per account
The second source of blocks is a shared browser. If five accounts come from one browser fingerprint and one IP, the platform links them together, and a block on one pulls the rest down with it.
That is why accounts are run through an anti-detect browser: each in its own profile, with its own fingerprint and its own proxy. Neon X works on top of AdsPower, and accounts are connected like this: Integration → Connect AdsPower → Sync Profiles. AdsPower is paid for separately; it is a third-party service.
A habit that saves you trouble: one account, one profile, one proxy, and do not change the proxy without a reason. A sudden switch of login country looks more suspicious than a steady, average IP.
Comments: the second channel
Besides groups, traffic comes from comments: under pinned posts (including an option limited to verified accounts), under trending posts and under media. Restraint matters here:
- the daily limit is set by hand, from 1 to 1000;
- one comment goes under one post, and the same material is not repeated within 48 hours;
- short, natural reactions work better than ad copy. In Neon X the AI builds 100 short reactions of 1–3 words from 5–10 examples you provide, in Russian or English, and no API key is needed for it.
What to check before every cycle
A beginner's mistake is to leave the software running on an account that is already restricted. The actions go nowhere, and the platform sees a stubborn robot. Before each cycle Neon X checks the account for a ban, a block and a dropped session, and stops by itself if something is wrong. The app enters the four-digit X Chat confirmation code itself.
One more thing: if the license server is unreachable, the app keeps working for up to 24 hours, so maintenance does not stop your traffic. Two devices are allowed per Neon account.
Which numbers tell you it is working
- Six activity metrics with charts for a day, 7 and 14 days and a month, so you can see where the drop happened.
- A top-accounts list: who really brings traffic and who just occupies a profile.
- Load on the computer (CPU, GPU, memory), which is usually the ceiling once you run many profiles.
Judging the work by the number of reposts makes no sense: look at clicks and subscriptions on the receiving platform. Neon Hub has tracking links for that, and they show which link brought a paying fan.
Launch checklist
- Set up AdsPower, create one profile per account, and give each one its own proxy.
- Connect the profiles in Neon X and start in Safe mode, especially on new accounts.
- Collect 15–20 groups with a rule you are willing to follow.
- After a week, drop the quiet groups and add new ones.
- Turn on comments with a small daily limit and see what brings clicks.
- Raise the pace gradually: the soft start is not there for decoration.
Neon X is part of every Neon Hub plan, and on its own it costs $150 a month with no limit on the number of AdsPower profiles. The free trial is 14 days: more about the app.
